PHUKET BEACH HOUSE
If you really want to
get a way from it all...
The Phuket Beach House is your answer. This small wooden house
is located on the Beach of Chalong Bay in the south of Phuket Thailand.
The house sits almost literally right on the sea. From
everywhere inside and outside the house on both the upper and lower
decks, your view is right out onto the bay.

Your journey begins as you cross a rickety bridge to the small sand peninsula carved out by the
Chalong Bay
in front and
small mostly polluted brackish river flowing it's way out from the backside of
the house. While you may also approach the house from the other side, crossing
this bridge, especially at night while intoxicated, is all part of the fun.

Once over the bridge, you'll have a short walk
along a pathway, which actually serves as the living room of the ever inebriated
neighbor Khun-Nam, again, you'll have to tread carefully through the amorphous dense jungle terrain
and assorted pots, pans and household debris to make your way around front to the Phuket Beach House. It's
best advised to take this pathway when Khun Nam is passed out, as to avoid the
100 baht bridge toll.
